Note Monochrome is a photograph executed in black and white or in varying
tones of only one colour.

Competition 1
· Open 1 - any subject

Competition 2
· Nature - includes animal and plant life, geology, skies etc as
found in the natural environment, and excludes
domesticated animals, garden plants and
landscapes created by human activity.

Competition 3
· Most commercially viable - any subject which could be used
for adverts, calendars, post cards, brochures etc

· Trees and Forests in Argyll
- woodland scenes or individual trees, in rural or urban
situations, in which human or animal activity may be
included but should not be dominant.

· Subtle humour - anything to raise a titter

· Motion
Any subject which is photographed in a way that
demonstrates motion and not merely of a subject
capable of motion.

– human activity in any public place, not necessarily
in a street.
